I’m Mary Brown, certified personal trainer and founder of MBStrength. With over 12 years of experience, I help women 35 and up build strength, improve energy, and feel more confident in their bodies—without extreme workouts or rigid rules. My approach is simple, sustainable, and focused on helping you move better, feel stronger, and show up for life with more resilience.

This program probably isn’t the right fit if:

  • You’re looking for a rapid fat-loss program or before-and-after transformation.
  • You want intense workouts 5 to 6 days a week.
  • You don’t want to engage with the app or check in on your own progress.
  • You’re only motivated by scale changes, not by building strength or routine.

 

FAQ

  • Do I need a gym?

Nope. All workouts can be done at home with a pair of dumbbells, a set of resistance bands, and a mat. A set of yoga blocks is helpful for the mobility session.

  • What if I’m not “in shape”?

Even better. This program is designed to meet you where you are, with a focus on form, control, and building confidence.

  • How long are the workouts?

Most sessions are 25–35 minutes start to finish. No filler, no fluff—just intentional movement.

  • What if I miss a day?

No big deal. This is a flexible plan, not a rigid calendar. The goal is progress, not perfection.

  • Will I get 1:1 coaching?

No.  This is a group-based program. You’ll get support via the app and weekly check-ins. 

  • Does the program have a start date or can I start whenever I'm ready?                                                                 

The program begins on May 31st, but you have the flexibility to schedule the workouts on the days that work best for you. Following the timeline with the group adds structure and support, making it easier to stay motivated and follow through.
